As a passionate Visual Storyteller and Filmmaker, I thrive on transforming complex narratives into engaging visual experiences. My expertise spans both digital and analog techniques, allowing me to adapt to each story’s unique essence and bring it to life in the most expressive way possible.

I am a mixed-media filmmaker, illustrator, and artist. I started my passion for art at the age of thirteen in Damascus, Syria, my hometown. I developed my own graffiti characters and letters daily, both on paper and on walls. Later, when I was eighteen, I studied graphic design for two years at Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht in the Netherlands. This period was filled with experimentation in digital art, motion design, mixed media, and traditional film.

After that, I pursued a bachelor's degree in audio-visual design at Willem de Kooning Academy (WDKA) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This is where I expanded my artistic knowledge and honed my skills in directing, film, and animation, becoming more involved with the Dutch art and film communities. During my time at WDKA, I spent one semester at IED Barcelona, focusing on motion graphics and video. There, I created a teaser for the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards festival, which was selected as an official festival teaser. Additionally, I completed various group assignments in 3D motion graphics and mixed-media short films.

My graduation short animated film from WDKA, "Where All the Questions End," received a Wild Card from the Dutch FilmFonds at the Nederlands Film Festival. This award will allow me to produce my next animated short film in collaboration with Valk Productions.
