A silent mixed-media black-and-white video created for a nine-screen monochromatic installation at The Hague Rotterdam Airport.
The installation was located in the waiting hall between gates 7 and 8. The video visualizes an interaction between
the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and a person who moves to its rhythms.

Process

First, I animated lyrics from the album and created visual effects frame by frame in Photoshop.

Then I overlaid the animations onto film footage I shot with a mirrorless camera.
All scenes were filmed using natural light, except for one in which I used a projector.
In that scene, the music video for A Day in the Life by The Beatles is projected onto the character.
