A silent, black-and-white mixed-media video created for a nine-screen
monochromatic installation at The Hague Rotterdam Airport.
The video was located in the waiting hall between gates 7 and 8, the video art displayd during 2020-2021.

The video visualizes the interaction between the Beatles’ album
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and a person moving to its rhythms.

Process

I animated the lyrics from the album and created visual effects frame by frame in Photoshop.
Then I overlaid these animations onto film footage I shot with a mirrorless camera.
All scenes were filmed using natural light, except for one scene where a projector was used.
