Where All the Questions End
Graduation Film – Development Award, Dutch Film Fund
Where All the Questions End is my bachelor graduation film, a mixed-media animated short that explores
themes of identity, memory, and the emotional distance between places.
The film’s intimate narrative and visual style earned me a Wild Card development award from the Dutch Film Fund,
which was presented at the Nederlands Film Festival (NFF) 2023.
I created the film from concept to final execution — writing, designing, and producing the project,
and leading a small team of animators during the production.
-------
This project was a comprehensive challenge that strengthened my abilities across the entire production pipeline. Specifically, the process involved:
Creative Leadership: Translating complex, personal themes into a clear, compelling visual language and narrative.
Artistic Direction: Balancing narrative sensitivity with a strong, consistent artistic direction across mixed media.
End-to-End Production Management: Effectively managing the full production pipeline, including team delegation,
resource allocation, and meeting critical deadlines.
Team Leadership: Successfully leading and collaborating with a small, specialized team of animators, composers
and sound designers to achieve a unified vision.
